I was so impressed with her knowledge and holistic approach. She took time to learn the history on my horse, about his rehab regimen, and evaluated my saddle fit. She showed me where it didn't fit well and may have attributed to his soreness. Sharon also helped me evaluate some trial saddles and taught me so much about saddle fit and structure. “Sharon is an excellent equine trainer and massage therapist. Not only does she train students of all ages(male/female),but she trains horses as well. All inclusive in these categories progress fabulously. Her expertise enables her clients(people and horses)to learn at their own pace with care, fun,and safety. She explains or demonstrates everything well and monitors all during lessons. The results are magnificent because she is the third trainer i have had in 5 years and no one came close to enabling me and my horse to grow together so well. Every horse loves her dearly when she performs her massage therapy on them. Their ears perk up as they hear her voice, knowing what is coming next. She explains clearly what she is doing as she works with them. They yawn, lower their heads,or stick out their tongues as proof Sharon is getting to all the right places and masterfully. My horse, as example, has arthritis, some navacular, and muscular stiffness with pain. Now he trots fluidly,eagerly, and constantly well. He walks without pain when he first comes out of his stall now. I am sure he is on the mend, though I think it will take some time.... UPDATE: Saddle fitter came today and took measurements (4 week interval) She was so pleased that his muscle tone has improved in his top line, specifically each side of his back has increased 1/4 to 1/2", and the center of his back up 1/2+!! She was also quite pleased with his neck and said it is becoming more properly proportioned not so thick on the bottom and getting fuller on top!! You have done such a wonderful job on O'brien and no one could be more pleased then me! Bottom line, I am so glad O'Brien is in your 'hands'."
